My Fair Lady workshop and auditions

We’re holding a workshop for anyone thinking of auditioning for a principle part in ‘My Fair Lady’, for you to come along, hear the music and sing through the songs with our Musical Director.

The workshop will be on Monday 2nd October starting at 6:30pm at the Lever club in Port Sunlight. We have time slots for each character as follows:

Freddy    6.30 – 7.00
Eliza       7.00 – 7.45
Higgins   7.45 – 8 15
Doolittle  8.15 – 8.40
Pickering    8.40-9.00

Auditions for principle parts are being held on Sunday 8th October at the Gladstone Theatre, starting at 2pm and will run in the following order:

Higgins No 5 Bars 14 – 78 I’m an Ordinary Man
  No 26 Bars 16 – 39 I’ve Grown Accustomed to her face
Eliza No 3 Bars 20-56 Wouldn’t it be Lovely
  No 7 Beginning to bar 18 Just you wait
  No 10 Beginning to bar 45 I could have danced all night
  No 25 Bars 17-50 Without you
Doolittle No 4 Beginning to bar before D With a little bit of luck
  No 22 Bar 12- 72 Get me to the church
Pickering No 19 Bars 43 – 92 You did it
Freddy No 13 Bars 27-90 On the street where you live

Auditions are for these parts only – anyone is welcome to join the chorus 🙂 Just keep your eye out for the date of the first rehearsal and come along!
